I'm not having any voiceover volume issues on my iPhone 5 while in a call. I can hear voiceover just fine. The change with buttons are set to off. This is just my personal preference. I never had this problem on my 3 GS with iOS 6 either. In fact, with the 5 I sometimes have to turn voiceover down a little while in a call. It seems as though voiceover and sounds in general are louder on the 5. I'm trying to find that right combination of voiceover volume and sound volume. ---------- Earle
