I have lowered my haptic feed-back, to about 40 percent, as i found the default
setting, was to strong. It felt like my phone was being kicked out of my hand.

The sounds are what you hear through the speakers. The haptic vibration /
sound is the so called haptic feature simulating a certain feel
I agree. If you lower it to zero, and then increase it, you should feel the
difference.

At least the native mail app doesn’t announce the number of suggested contacts
as you enter an address. You have to go look for them in the native mail app.
One of the reasons I stick with it, rather than the Outlook app.
