RE: help with updating 6s.
Hi Maria, The only thing I can think of is there enough storage on the phone for the update? I did a quick google search and it says you need at least 2.7 gigs. The site I saw recommended 6 gigs free for best performance. If that's not it, then I would call Apple accessibility. You seemed to have tried most things. Take care and stay safe! HI guys. my friend has a 6s which he is trying to update. he h verified that the 6s does take the latest update. The update seems to download fine, then there is an update failed error, and the phone goes back to download and install. things we have tried include. 1. deleting the downloaded update and restarting the phone. 2. doing a hard reset. 3. resetting network settings. 4. erasing the phone and setting it up as a new iPhone. Looked on google and we could ’t find any other options. The only other option we could find is using iTunes and updating with a pc. Trouble is that my friend has had a stroke and cannot use a pc and he doesn’t have iTunes. so does anyone know of anything else we can try? thanks.
