I used to get kernel panics on shutdown when I had some crosslinked files on my drive. Restart in single user mode and run fsck. Probably can't fix it (if it is crosslinked files) but will tell you if there's directory structure or other file system problems. Disk Warrior can fix crosslinked

hi WAMUGGERS i was changing the size of partitions on my PBG4 with ipartition when it crashed half way through the operation. Now it won't boot up, but I can access the drive it by booting in transfer mode from my other machine, and all the data is still there so haven't lost any documents.
