able to get the scanner going with the version you had already downloaded?
Oh well. It was nice to share our combined fumbling-around-efforts!
I'll let you know when I might need it back. If possible by Friday 5th

Hi Justin,
I'm intrigued ... why are you using an external keyboard on your
PowerBook? I can 'sort of' understand why some people prefer to use an
external mouse instead of the trackpad, but an external keyboard on a
laptop?
Were you using the Dell keyboard in Leopard?

Try JB HiFi.
I try them after Harvey Norman but as I am in Geraldton. They did not

Our sole remaining G5 iMac in the fleet has decided to play up.
This morning when trying to wake it up as normal the screen remained

seconds and it shut down. left it for a while, unplugged everything,

Hi Severin,
Since I don't export from Quicktime, I don't know the exact answer to
your question, but typical default profiles are (a) sRGB (which is
like a lowest common denominator) and (b) the source device profile.
I'd assume that QT passes along the colour values provided by your
recorder

any of you in the bi-platform mode used Ghostscript in Windows? What

Ghostscript does work but the quality of the PDF hasn't always been good, we
have
had some issues with ghostscript where we have had to put the file back through
Acrobat to get it working.
But as always everyone has different thoughts.
