Yes, it is a good feature of an Airport Extreme. It should be noted
that although you can share multiple drives this way through a hub you
can not make one of those drives a Time Machine drive and effectively
convert to a Time Capsule. A minor drawback

Airport Extreme but I do not recall where. I set this up though I am
not currently using it.

Severin,
You could be correct on that one it said something about that when I
re-downloaded the user-guide, I may have to re-setup the Airport again.

Thanks both to Noel and Stuart for your advise.
I have the white Belkin router and have never had a firmware update.
I purchased a lap top last year and it took me about a week to get it
connected.
As the Belkin has never had a firmware update, would it still be
possible to get
the lap top
Hi Julie --
-- You should be able to get good advice from Belkin about your laptop, as
long as you get on to the Australian mob. You can email back and forth, they
will give you the firmware update as an attachment, with instructions. If
you have problems doing the update, just contact them

update.
A few months ago I started having problems connecting to some internet sites
and very slow speeds. Rang iiNet and a very nice gentleman walked me through
some setting changes to be made on the router. All is

If it is the model that can easily be opened to inspect the board it
is also the model that suffers from Capacitor Plague.
If ANY caps appear at all bulged or have a brownish mark on the top it
is trash I'm afraid.
From what you have said I would be looking for one that has actually

Hi Lloyd
Quite a lot of past discussion on this subject. See WAMUG archives and search
Reunion. I'm not familiar with MacFamily, however I do use Reunion and can't
fault it. A product dedicated to the Mac platform, its maker Leister
Productions dropped Windows years ago. Support is terrific
Hi Lloyd
I had been using Family Tree Maker for Windows for some time and earlier this

No doubt in my mind Reunion is much better
Have no experience with Macfamily

I have been using Reunion for 6 plus years and can't fault it and excellent
product and excellent support.
I have not used MacFamily, having been satisfied with reunion.
Good luck.
