Stuart, Have you tried a different browser? Firefox or Google Chrome. I find Chrome handles downloads better than Safari for me. It might not solve your problem, but installing a variety of browsers gives you more options to troubleshoot when you have problems.

Hi My problem - how to dispose of 2 non-working printers. Spent ages trying to get them working, gave up bought a new one. Just have no space - they need to go! Offered them on freecycle but no takers. Is there somewhere that takes then for recycling? Or do I just put them in the bin? .. or

Hi Rob, Not a bad though, Rob. You are thinking of so-called Toslink or digital audio. It operates by sending green light pulses down an optical fibre. So if the light is on the Mac mini is in digital audio mode. When digital audio is on standard 3.5 mm headphones / speakers will not operate.
