I am guessing you mean email (not r-mail) … the r and e keys are next
to each other.
This is a guess … but perhaps give your provider a call.
It could be their issue.

Hi Today for some unknown reason all the emails in a folder on Mac Mail
and its two sub folders have gone missing. I can’t find them anywhere.
I have a reasonably recent back up and I have found what appear to be

What version of macOS and Mail are you using? Catalina had many issues with
Mail from the start. I understand not all have been fixed. Google search show
several “try it” remedies. Not being a Catalina user I don’t know the current
status.

OK,..so part of your mail issue could be related to one computer using POP and
the other using IMAP. As they’re both different “protocols”. So if the POP3 one
is “downloading” or removing from the server,..then it will be affecting the

As a “short term’” fix, you could create a folder in Apple Mail “On My Mac” and
put older emails in to folders there,..rather then in the Inbox.
This saves them all on the computer rather then in the Inbox.

I sent out an e-mail this morning but the message was too big!
Yesterday whilst using the Computer there was a Power outage, the Computer
shutdown. Upon restarting all appeared to be normal. I noticed that I would

tried he got the same message "Can't connect to server ... enter password" then

Thank you Robin, the e-mail has been trashed. The wording wasn’t quite correct
when the e-mail was opened, but I thought that I would ask the question and

I have just opened my mail and this e-mail was in the inbox, it looks
suspicious to me. Then my phone pinged and a message came up to tell me that
someone has just tried to use my log in in Chicago!!! Any ideas??

were several issues but the root of it all was having a mix of PoP and iMap
accounts. Now they are all iMap and with a bit of push and shove all is now

This will help narrow it down, which may be “marking it off” and which aren’t.

have already been read on one device they will show on the other
devices but won't have a blue dot as they have already been read.
I have my 5 email accounts messages coming to 4 devices, all messages appear on
all devices, but the blue dots only appear on the first device that accesses
