Hi All
MacUpdate are running a good bundle again.
Worth a look, and it has Toast 11 in it!
(As well as Printopia (First 10,000 sales), DataRescue3 and many more!)
Worth it just for Toast!
This link is a referral link, so if you do purchase I get a little bit back.
The bundle also has Mellel, what Peter Hinchliffe demo'ed last night at Sept
meeting...
So if those who were at meeting last night, and want to try Mellel.

Hi Daniel,
Do you know if these applications will work on Lion? If not, how do I find
out before purchasing?
I have just had to throw out a lot of old applications that worked on Snow
Leopard but won't on Lion.
Thanks
Lloyd

OOh oh,..I know the answer to that one Ronni!
You buy them all at top full price (Except when you get them through me at a
better price,..) because you're not patient! :o) hehe. :o) lol
Kind regards

Thanks Daniel,
One note of caution. I was having a lot of problems with my iMac freezing
when waking from sleep after installing Lion. I applied all the helpful
advice I was given but still the problem had not gone away.
Then I disabled EarthDesk v 5.7.3 and the problem appears to have stopped.
Yes I know Daniel, everyone knows I don't know the meaning of the word patience.
I refuse to accept it as a word!
Cheers,
Ronni

Yes, I don't install those sort of programs. Anything that has to constantly
update images or use cpu to change things all the time, doesn't get install. I
tend to think of those bundles a bit like a CD of music. you dont' like all the
tracks, but you get it for a few of the songs.

Bear in mind that the command key trick only works with Apple's own menu items,
such as Time

Hi Ronni,
No, I have not added more RAM yet. You recommended at least 8G of RAM but
my iMac8,1 will only take 6G anyway. So that must limit thousands of
people like me with that model of iMac. I keep looking out for other
people with the same problem.
I kept experimenting and removed every
Hi Lloyd,
Yes, the iMac8,1 max. RAM is 6GB, but you only had 4GB installed didn’t you?
Upgrade to the Max 6GB RAM, an extra 2GB would make quite a difference.
RAM is much cheaper now days, I like to run my machines with the most RAM
possible.
Cheers,
Ronni

Hi Rick. This is just an idea to show you what files may be taking up
the space; If you go 'USERS - HOME - LIBRARY - MAIL - YOUR MAIL
ACCOUNT - INBOX.mbox - MESSAGES. Then view in LIST VIEW, then click
SIZE you can see all your attachments from the largest to the smallest

I like it. :-) The excuses from IT sound all too familiar — as if a Windows
notebook sets such a high security standard that an iPad couldn't possibly
match it. Also the Web sites that aren't completely viewable must either have
elements of Adobe Flash or they don't meet HTML standards. Either
