I timed the minutes of TAGS and ads on TV Land. 20 minutes of show, 15 minutes
of ads. No more than 5 minutes of show at a time.

Chicago area it's on with back-to-back episodes Monday thru Friday from 3PM to
4PM CST.

At one time TV Land had exclusive cable rights to TAGS which prohibited other
networks such as The Hallmark Channel from airing it. It looks like they must
still control those rights. That's why superstations like WGN could air Andy
in the afternoons in the Chicago area
Frankly,
Now that I have all 8 years uncut on DVD, it had become annoying to see
butchered episodes on TV Land.

I have been enjoying the TV Land Mayberry Marathons on the weekends.
TV Land has totally gotten away from what they used to be. I wish there was a
station out there that had only shows from 1950's to 70's or 80's! I don't
enjoy TV Land much at all anymore.

Some have recently suggested writing to thank TV Land for putting TAGS back on
prime time. Of course, that is a great idea. But I think the folks on this
list who are TV Land watchers also need to thank Mike Becker! He is the one
who spearheaded the effort here at WBMUTBB? to persuade TV
Dave...that schedule was last updated on July 14, 2006 (the one for
Sept. 2006) so I don't know if it is good or not.

I agree with Shelia on this TV land thing. Before the show is really over
you get an ad! And not only that a lot of scene are being deleted from the
TVLand shows! Funny scenes! Some of us should express our views. There is
strength in numbers!
