Still I have not been able to get lightning and lightning_strikes into the
database. I have added the units to extensions.py per the customization
manual, reconfigured the database several times but still no luck.
When I run weewx manually with the as3925 configuration I see those units

Hi Dave. Thanks for that - I managed to use a table like that to get date/time
format that way I wanted it on a capture script for the camera on my Pi. What I
dont know is where to put the format string - in the weewx.conf file? Or is it
the skin template file, or the skin.conf file itself? Un
i have got a WeMo switch that is plugged into the wall, and then the power for
the Pi is plugged into that. At any stage that I notice the FO has locked up, I
can remotely cycle the power, and everything is reset - so far it has been
working a treat.
In order to make it work successfully though

Date Format
*FORMAT* is a sequence of characters which specifies how output will
appear. It comprises some combination of the following sequences:
*%%* a literal percent sign ("*%*").
*%a* The abbreviated weekday name (e.g., *Sun*).
*%A* The full weekday name (e.g., *Sunday*).
*%b* The ab
Hi. My apologies for posting on a thread that is so old, however it's the

Weewx actually monitors the LOOP packets coming out of your VP2 every 2.5

Hi
My thermometer's failed and I hope to repair it. In the meantime I've
connected a spare unit which I know reads 0.5C higher than it should.
While I'm repairing my original unit, I'd like to use the StdCalibrate
function to subtract 0.5C to the readings I record.
Just so I'm certain, does St
Hello,
I see that my extreme values (temp, barometer, etc) are different between
the VP2 console (Weatherlink also) and weewx. There is difference of 0.1 or
0.2. My database is in METRICWX.
Is there a conversion problem or a setup to do?
Many thanks.

Hi,
If you fixed the erroneous data in the archive table you then need to drop and
rebuild the daily summaries to fix up the historical stats (month, year etc).
Have a look at
http://weewx.com/docs/customizing.htm#Dropping_and_rebuilding_the_daily_summaries
in the Customization Guide.

Hello,

I reset the rain and the rain rate in weewx.sdb, but the rate rain is

I have Davis Vantage VUE.
According to the documentation for Vantage VUE ISS it should generate
battery status.
Weewx was installed as .deb
How can I include it on my web ?
I saw in this group ...
Look in bin/examples/lowBattery.py.
Instructions on how to install are at the top of the file.
