curid is an url parameter to index.php. wgArticleId is a JavaScript variable
present in the source code. Both refer to the page_id property of the page in
the database.
They should be renamed to pageid/pageId, for clarity (especially wrt curid) and
consistency (to match page_id in the database and the pageids API parameter).
To complete the set, a magic word would be nice, such as {{PAGEID}}, as simply
a wrapper around wgPageId.
ps - I suppose old names could be kept as aliases for backwards-compatibility.

Whether or not the amount of lines is preserved doesn't help since the files are combined into one. I have yet to see the first major minification system that keeps in mind debugging processes as that's sortof the opposite of attempting to serve files as quickly and effeciently as possible. debug=true mode will serve each individual file seperately (like it used to be before resource loader), I think if you expect a bug reporter to be able to get an actual line number from a particular file, expecting them to append debug=true to the URL should not be a problem. I agree that curid was a horrible horrible choice for the parameter name.
However, I don't really think there's a compelling reason to rename it since
we'd need to keep back-compat anyways. Its not like users are expected to
really use it.
To complete the set, a magic word would be nice, such as {{PAGEID}}, as simply
a wrapper around wgPageId.
That's semi bug 23427 (see comments towards the end).

It shows you the other file for comparison and then gives you several submit buttons. And finally, the error: 4. Even if you click 'ignore warnings, submit anyway' you are sent back to the upload page, only now the File input is empty. The warnings here don't make any sense; does it think that .mw-codereview-struck and .mw-wordcloud-size-5 are going to be used in the same place? These are not actually problems at all, as those class styles are never used together. 'darkcyan' is indeed technically not listed in CSS 2.1, but it is standard in the CSS 3 colors module and is supported by all known browsers. I have been setting up a new wiki on the following versions: Apache/2.2.17 PHP 5.3.5 (apache2handler) MySQL 5.5.8 MediaWiki 1.16.0 Semantic MediaWiki (Version 1.5.5.1) Semantic Forms (Version 2.0.9) When I open some of the Semantic MediaWiki special pages, such as Special:Ask, I get the following error: A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was: CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE `ITMax_smw_tmp_unusedprops`( title VARCHAR(255) ) TYPE=MEMORY from within function SMW::getUnusedPropertySubjects. Database returned the error 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'TYPE=MEMORY' at line 1 (localhost). From the note below (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/create-table.html) it appears to be a combatability issue with MySQL 5.5. Note The older TYPE option was synonymous with ENGINE. TYPE was deprecated in MySQL 4.0 and removed in MySQL 5.5. When upgrading to MySQL 5.5 or later, you must convert existing applications that rely on TYPE to use ENGINE instead. I have searched my server to try and find where this SQL is generated but cannot find anything. Please can you confirm this issue and advise a solution or patch.
