Instead of re-starting the application, have you tried just going to the
Audio tab, then de-selecting and then re-selecting the USB CODECS?

I agree, big problem also for chasing rare DX that takes quite some time,
sometimes to complete.
I have to be diligent and make sure my log uses OFF and not ON because the
counterparty has OFF in their log.
I wish there was an option to leave checked = Use OFF time for ON/OFF

Why do you generate msgs if you are wanting to call CQ?
Generate Msgs takes the DXCall value but there is probably no value there if
you wish to call CQ.

I see no reason to use a disparity in expertise or knowledge between
yourself and any other member of the group to make your, or any point.
Just add your knowledge and expertise please and forget the disparagement
that popup message I posted was from -Z. It too objects to running Fox in
std frequencies.

I think you are assuming that they are using Fox and Hound with WSJT
flavours. They are more likely using MSHV which does not require odd/even
F/H.
They just look like they are F/H but are just multi stream. You can work
them as normal

Find USB Settings, then drill down to USB selective suspend setting. Disable
the options next to On battery and Plugged in, then click Apply. You must then
restart your PC to stop it from turning off the USB ports unnecessarily."

tried moving my USB cable over to another port on the PC but this makes
no difference other than changin from say 2-USB to 3-USB etc.
