ensure that if a full compound call is used anywhere in a QSO it will be

I didn't say it interfered with other operations, just that it subverted
the setting that promises to stop transmitting after sending a 73

Looking at the button names and the fact that there is a "Halt" button
leads me to believe that the "Enable Tx" button should be doing this
anyway and somehow it has evolved into a "Halt" button as well. This may
be my fault :(

I think the new behavior is great…but I was trying to think like a new
user and what would be "smooth" behavior in the corner cases.

he last monitored band. I believe the dummy Hamlib back
end that Rig "None" uses defaults to 2m. If you change the band in
WSJT-X and turn on "Monitor" the new frequency will be stored.

OK, that doesn't sound quite right. I will look into that.
Thanks for the report.

Hi Mike,
some more comments:
I think it would be sensible to include the instance name in the
broadcast datagram as a third field. You can use the method
QApplication::applicationName() result as the instance name.
There is no need to call member functions with an explicit this pointer,

Hi All,
after some discussion on the Yahoo WSJT-X list it seems that some users
may be confused about the interaction between the waterfall bandwidth
and the decoders. This confusion may come about with users who already
have a waterfall display of their Rx e.g. SDR users.
I propose to change

I believe this involves some waterfall
changes so now is not the best time to start making changes in that area
because it will complicate any future merges of this enhancements.

Hi All,
if anyone has their documentation hat on, the user guide need updating
to reflect the latest state of play with v1.4.0.
There are references to rc1 & rc2 which should probably be removed,
since we are targeting v1.4.0, any references to release candidates are
best left out IMHO.
