Linux doesn’t need any drivers added. It comes with Silicon Labs USB to UART drivers already in the OS. All you have to do is add your username to the dialout group. Matter of fact there is no need to install manufacturers drivers in Windows because all they are is old versions of Silicon Labs

An update of my windows IC-705 testing ... The asus win11 i9 laptop / WSJT-X 2.7.0-rc2 / IC-705 still was NOT decoding. Everything, including rig control, was working fine. (BTW this IC-705 firmware ver has a FT8 preset.) Installed fldigi 4.2.? that i use for nbems traffic nets for thor22 msfk

Could there be some audio enhancements that should be switched off, either windows or in rig such as noise blanker or some automatic interference reduction? Does your computer have two time services activated, perhaps not in the both computers? On those few decodes, what are the dT values?
