I've had the same problem with DVDs sent to me.
For maximum compatibility, it seems DVDs should have an
empty AUDIO_TS folder at the same level than the VIDEO_TS folder.

players that don't play VCDs and of course your right that even the original VCD

I received a DVD of a Here & Now show last year from the guy who filmed it.
It won't play on anything (normal standalone DVD player, DVD ROM drives in 3
different computers or a DVD writer in another PC). Other people who got
copies of

burned it as a data cd, and not as a VCD. Is there an option on Burnatonce
to burn VCDs? If not, you will need Nero or some other program that will let
you do that.
