I tried many times to configure my Advent 5480DVD's internal modem but no luck. Now, I have here a Compaq Deskpro NE Series, installed everything from the 2 CDs (server installation this time) but still external US Robotics modem is not not detected. I examined IRQ, DMA, ADDRs, etc for possible conflict - also tried "internet-config", still no luck. any other remedies?, tnx for help in advance.
