Robert,
I read your response to the guy asking about internal work on the GA16 and I
had a couple of questions.
1) Assuming the rest of the engine is prepped and has all the bolt-ons, what
kind of power gains would you see from bumping compression from stock to
11:1 (or whatever the highest streetable CR may be).
2) Given a fully built GA16 (bolt-ons, exhaust, headwork, JWT cams and ECU,
bumped compression, but no one-off custom-fabricated components) that is
still daily-drivable on pump gas, what kind of wheel HP could you
realistically expect on pump gas with a manual transmission? (I know this is
a vague question)
3) I will likely be getting a JWT ECU soon for my 94 XE, and I was wondering
if there is any advantage to having the ECU programmed so that I could
switch to the SE-R throttle body and MAF. I don't know of anyone that has
managed to get the TB to work on a GA16, but I presume it should be
possible. Would you mainly see a difference in throttle response, or would
there be real HP/torque gains?

Thanks for any info you can provide,
JWolfe
