On my completely stock 99 4 door SEL, I was doing consistent 2.3 sec 60ft times and my
reactime was never above .7sec and usually .5 seconds(perfect). That is with full
interior and even the spare tires and my school textbooks on a 90degrees+ day. I was
able to best a 16.2. I lasted till the last remaining four cars. The other three were
all domestic automatic cars that was doing 18 sec+ ets. Those dumb fucks ruin the fun
for all the importers who drive manuals. I never lost to a manual b4 and I even beated
a few automatics. I would last till the remaining few everytime and end up losing to
gay american automatics who just decides to spoil the competition. And what year is
your car? The old Sentra SE-R weighs 250+ lbs lighter than the B14 Sentra SE-Ls and
with 10 extra hp. 250lbs is alot. I G-Teched my 0-60mph with my friend who weighs
150lbs in the car 4 times and it was consistently slower by 5.8 to 6.3sec. And that is
only 0-60 which is much shorter. With the stock Sentra !
SE-R or even the 200sx, you can do 2.2 or even 2.1 sec 0-60fts if you are "good".
Learn how to drive. THat's it. SE-R's can do it period. It's all in the driver.
Jay Hassinger ran a 15.0 with pulleys, homemade intake, and timing. I got a CAI,
header, and exhaust for less than 1000. You can use used parts too which would drive
the price even more. You are running 16.2 because you aren't doing a perfect launch.
FYI, I ran a 15.7 stock with a 2.3 60' time. With a 2.2 I would've ran a 15.5 stock.
