Depends on your needs.  If you can search out and follow the  
instructions, I would swap in an SRT-4 or PT Cruiser drivetrain.

It should pencil out less than a complete rebuild of a T2 drivetrain  
with a rebuilt transmission and limited slip differential.

You'll need custom programming on your computer to do it, but there  
are vendors available to fix that for you.
