I've been running SP2 beta ever since .......well, (app.7 months) and
now the sp2 final release and haven't had any problems to date.... Just my 2
cents!!!

I also have Comcast and after I downloaded SP-2,
I immediately did a "disk defrag" and had no problems as yet! Maybe I
just got lucky. Give it a try and lotsa luck.
