One of the products that we have an assembly contract uses a Winn W6 grip. We got a bad batch of shafts and not knowing this all the shafts were gripped. Then being a frugal sort I saved over 200 of these grips by blowing them off with compressed air! Just a little squirt of solvent into the shaft through the vent hole and puff they're off. No damage, no solvent on the wrap and fast. If I had to use the blade tool I would never have done this job because the time is worth more than the grip!

Works just as well on the Karakal which is utilized by another company we assemble for.

Only addition is when blowing off these wrapped grips you need to give the grip a twist in COUNTERCLOCKWISE DIRECTION (so the wrap stays tight) while the air is added and no protector tube is necessary for this removal.
