I was also disappointed that the red stripping on some of the grips I used would unravel and make the grip look ugly and not consistent
This happens when the grip is stretched or is not installed in a straight push on.
When this grip is bent the paint doesn't flex and frees itself from the grip!
Heck, I had one customer who didn't like the paint color and wanted it removed. Just bent the grip back and forth a few times and the paint peeled off in one piece. Left the silver paint in place.
He liked it, I charged double, we were both happy!
