Time warner is now offering road runner service to apartment
dwellers. I plan on having mine installed next week, but
first a few questions:
1. Has anyone heard anything "bad" about the service?
2. I'm planning on using an old 486 as a firewall. The faq
claims that a fast pentium can handle about 4 Mbps. From
this I gather that a 486 as my gateway might severly
limit my bandwidth. What do you people think?
Thanks in advance.
