Is the airport region really boring, like most airport locations?
That part of bombay is one huge suburb. There's some pretty depressing stuff within a short drive away - like an industrial estate, and a cigarette factory. But some really good hotels too - if your price range stretches to the orchid - that's at over $375 these days, and at that rate there's the Hyatt, quite close to the airport as well. But again - its not the most interesting part of bombay. If you want tourism go downtown. If you're meeting someone / speaking somewhere, tell us where and we can come up with something reasonable, nearby.
