There is no "decent wine" available in Bangalore either. The only people who think so are people who don't really have experience with the current state of wine in the rest of the world. I applaud the Indian wine industry and their attempts to start a domestic wine industry and promote a wine culture, but you aren't there yet. Mass produced Australian or Chilean plonk is still better than even "high end" Indian wine. To get decent wine in India I had to bring it in myself, or implore visiting friends to bring me decent wine. Things will surely improve, but first you need to build the market, and the Indian wine market is still in its infancy. -- Charles
