i had a fairly decent cabernet from grover vineyards today. it wasnt bad at all ... quite tannic and strong like some of those sicilian or south african cabernets.... (I have visited quite a few government run TASMAC liquor store outlets in chennai now. The little bottles of brandy seem to be the most popular items. Saw a guy stop in a scooter, down a whole bottle without removing his helmet and ride away -- all in a matter of five minutes. The chap at the counter was upset when I asked if there was some better quality of beer apart from that disgusting black knight)
