I can only assume you intend to provoke.
No, that is not the case at all.
There are plenty of instances and bonafide studies. that show animals and
birds thinking, learning and reasoning.
True. I had forgotten that. I have studied homing pigeons, I know about
the dolphins, and have read some about the monkeys.
I guess they have evolved over the years.
Is somebody filling in for you lately?
No ........ not to my knowledge.
It SOUNDS like you, but I know that you know better.
Every one can be wrong now and then. Thanks to you and Marshal setting
me straight.
Possibly my mind don't work as it once did, or I get engrossed in one
thought and the other facts cannot surface to set me back on the right track.
So, I stand corrected on some of the statements I said about animals.
We all agree their thinking is no where near that of the human.
I still don't believe they have a fear and knowledge or pain as humans
experience. We can put a level on pain from 1 to 10 and make decisions.
I am not cruel to animals. Some deserve it of course.
If a dog starts killing chickens or turkeys or chasing livestock and cannot
be corrected, he can be a liability in short order.
A good correction is better than death which is sure to result if he keeps
it up.
Thanks for your ideas. And thanks for correcting me.
