They also grieve. When my Pug Tashy died, her boyfriend Willy was really depressed for over a week; he wasn`t happy to go for his walks or go in the car, when usually he was bouncy about them. He just sat on my lap and really looked sad. Often he looked for her. They are NOT "dumb animals". Can`t speak English, yes, but they can still communicate. I just taught my new turtle that a yummy is coming when I show her a mealworm outside the tank, now she swims close by and reaches up to get it. A week ago she was afraid of me. Every creature on Earth is God`s creation, and we should be thankful for them and take care of them. Eating them is OK but thanks should be given for their sacrifice. I am really grateful for animals, for the more I see of humans the more I appreciate the animals! Humans can be horrible. All too often I`m ashamed to be one. Marshalee
guess i got it ass backwards,, seems like i have been a servant to my two dogs, ping and gizmo, for as long as i can remeber,, and will keep it they way, by the way , they do feel pain, and can cry....anyone that does not agree has never loved his / her pet... geo.
