I am not cruel to animals. Some deserve it of course.
If a dog starts killing chickens or turkeys or chasing livestock and cannot be corrected, he can be a liability in short order.

## No animal deserves to be killed for following its' instincts, but killing them is "justifiable" in human terms of liability...which is the inverse of benefit that also justifies the killing.
 Farm "conditions"?
No animal , including humans, knows anything about what they've never experienced, therefore, without a comparison available, an animal won't know if it's being mistreated or not. [again, including human animals ]
You cannot miss what you've never had.
Animals don't fear death as that takes an ability for highly abstract reasoning, but they can experience and fear fear without knowing why. Part of the survival instinct flight or fight program. If something screams, run! Can't run? Hide. Can't hide?......cower, get small.

A good correction is better than death which is sure to result if he keeps it up.

Thanks for your ideas. And thanks for correcting me.
