Try stevia. You can make your own tinctures from organic stevia leaf powder or try the extracts available at your local organic food store.

Dr. Jerry Tennant says to avoid all sweeteners with "tol" in them, and I tend to agree with him. They are toxic to the body. I do use xylitol, however, as a mouthwash.
