yes, they are. Right on the box it says to take between 2 and 4
tablespoons in case of constipation. So, taking 1/8 teaspoon in an 8 oz
cup of water is a tiny dose. The main side effect I have heard people
talking about is that it can cause loose stools at a certain point. Of
course everyone is free to take whatever they want, but for the
purposes of the taste tests, epsom salts work fine. Also for adding a
pinch with some other electrolytes for a rehydration fluid.

chloride) is at the grocery store, so is salt. Simple.
