Faith- I pick the zucchinis more like when they are 15" long- now THAT'S a zucchini! I hope you don't just have one plant as they need to be cross-pollinated. Except some of the newest ones are parthenocarpic- don't need fertilizing at all. Or maybe that's just cucumbers.
