A level teaspoonful of Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) is said to be 4
grams. I've seen others reference it to be 5 grams.
This is a fairly large dose, and would probably induce a bowel
reaction for first timers. It is a great dose for general health
maintenance.
If you DID get a bowel reaction...your body acclimates fairly quickly,
and the same dose the next day would be easily tolerated.
You could then increase the dosage in this manner (daily) until you DO
find a dose that you don't feel like tolerating.
That could be considered your limit.
I've found the limit to be tremendously increased using Brook's
discovery/protocol.
