Oh I understood from Brookes post that sodium ascorbate was the one to use.  On 
his post he mixes bicarbonate of soda with the ascorbic acid to make an 
alkaline form to use.  If you look in the archives you can see Brookes 
Bradley's posts on the subject.  I just by-passed adding the bicarb by buying 
the ready made sodium ascorbate.  dee
