Hello Steven, The human taste mechanism is more sensitive than most high-tech instruments. I think most DW is stored in HDPE, which is rated for serum products. My friend says she can taste it, nontheless. Time for a double blind with the water in glass and HDPE.
I'll put that one in with my other reminders.... Over here in the UK, I can buy lab water with a specific microseimens rating on it. It occurs to me that the plastic that they ship this water in must have special properties. Otherwise, it would taint the water? I don't know the composition of the plastic but I do know that I save all of these containers that I get my hands on. . . for water and CS storage! But I can't exactly make batches in them -wrong shape cheers, Steve King -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
