Hi Dennis, I am not prepared to support that opinion. My reading of that history was years ago, and I cannot take the time to look it all up.
Just consider my statement an unqualified opinion. The whole war was manufactured as part of the groundwork for what is happening in the world today. The real issue is how we have been manipulated into thinking it is OK to butcher one another wholesale. I think that self defense and the protection of the innocent is a duty, and may involve harming those who are doing it. But the greater priority is to protect humans and if possible all life. We need to turn our attention to those transnational forces which are controlling our reality and creating these confrontations. And, we are straying a bit far from the list focus. Maybe if I had been stranded on one of those Pacific Islands under the terrible treatment of the Japanese forces I would feel differently.
