I haven't had any problems using Stabile, a red liquid you can buy in the auto parts store that's made for preserving fuel in storage. An ounce treats several gallons, if I remember right. With the wild fluctuations in gas prices here lately, I'm considering filling the Y2K jugs again whenever the price is down under 1.40 per gallon again. I'm sick of being gouged. If you figure out something that works and can be home-made from readily available materials, let us know, Bob. Whether a money saver or a field expedient replacement for a commercial product, it'd be worth knowing about. Be well, Mike D.
