If you do not have some form of a Hanna tester then next best test or should
I say the best test is the initial current in your brew cell. Of course I am
making the erronous assumption that ALL of you have a meter in your brew
circuit. Shame on you if you don't.  It is your eyes into what is happening
and when to shut-off the power.

With two electrodes and a wet length of about 3 1/2" spaced about 1" apart,
the top grade of distilled water will read about .2 to .3 ma. Now this is
for those who are running constant voltage.  Maybe Ivan can tell you how to
monitor that.
