 I agree.  I would have to go back to the instructions to calculate how much
 was available, and it would be a time consuming  exercise with my present
 state of skill.  I think doing that will shed light on the issue of "to salt
 or not to salt" in LVDC generators. It probably improves initial
 conductivity at the price of binding a small amount of silver.

James: Instead of theorizing about what happens during the PROCESS of making 
CS, why not start by quantifying how effective different CS PRODUCTS are in 
combating specific illnesses? With a little creative thinking, I'm sure we 
can cook up some neat experiments that will allow us to make comparisons 
among easily distinguishable CS preps. Once we have a general idea of which 
type of CS product is doing a superior job for a distinct illness, we can 
work on how to characterize it since the production method is well 
established, and, hopefully, reproducible. Perhaps a pattern will develop.
