Marshall: I don't have much more information, only that the descriptions were a greying of the fingernails. Improving kidney and liver functions is always a good idea... A simple way to do so is to
1) take one tablespoonful of 1st cold press virgin olive oil first thing in the morning, no matter the taste... 2) Add freshly squeezed lemon to eight ounces of water and drink it two to three times daily ( trying to avoid contact with teeth if possible as the lemon prior to being converted to an alkaline substance in the stomach is highly acidic and can strip the enamel from teeth ) 3) add increasing amounts of raw garlic to the diet. eventually the smell goes away, as long as cooked or processed garlic is not used. Garlic does alot of fabulous things in the body, including helping to stimulate the body's elimination system. Substances like ginger and cayenne also act as metabolic stimulants. These ideas are from the macrobiotic way of thinking of health. I think you'd eventually know if it was silver building up in the nails, as it would not remain at just the base of the nails... I don't know! ) begins to become visible in the fingernails, and therefore users decide ( before it's too late, luckily ) to get educated. Do you have any additional information on this. My wife and I both have noticed lately that the base of our fingernails are slightly blue, instead of the usual pink. I have searched the web but been unable to find what might cause this. Things like poor blood circulation don't add up, we feel fine. Thanks, Marshall
