I have some silver wire from a jeweler. He calls it .999. I don't know how honest he is. What is a good source for pure silver wire? Is there a great hazard using .999 wire from a jeweler? Is .9999 better just to be sure?
Also how pure is the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf? I have one and am tempted to pound it into electrodes. But it seems pretty hard and not malleable.
