>Dear list, Sharon. I've been lurking on the sliver list for about 5 years now. I love the discussions and debates and mighty fine advice.
I've been reading all the advice you have been receiving on your daughters' bladder infection. Every thing I've read so far can be used after the infection has occurred. My concern is prevention. You,(Sharon), said your daughter has had this recurring infection since she was 3. Could this be at the time she was being potty trained? Could she possibly be wiping her bottom from the back to the front? It makes all the difference in the world with a female. Even a very minute portion of fecal matter reaching her front area can contaminate her and cause infection. With a female, it is always... wipe from the front to the back. Just my observations.
