I used to buy spring water in plastic jugs to drink. I found that often there was a significant plastic taste to the water indicating that some chemical or plasticizer from the plastic had gotten into the water. Also noticed this buying fill-your-own reverse osmosis water from the grocery store. If the jugs were rinsed first, there was no plastic taste. Maybe this is what is happening to the distilled water.
Dan Re: CS>Engineers From: Mike Monett Date: Mon, 28 Jul 2003 07:06:33 Now WallMart seems to have changed their dw, and I haven't been able to find any that works as well as their old stuff. Maybe it's just a batch problem - I really hope so. Good dw is hard to find. Best Regards, Mike Monett -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
