Thanks Dan, That LMC555 timer circuit is rather strange. Uusually the timing circuit is a resistor series between pin 8 - 7- 6 and the Cap from pin 6 to ground.
I got knee relief running 10 Hz rather 30 kHz, and that is safe for the eyes. The approved medical TENS unit runs at 10 Hz.
