Evening Thora,

Does anyone have specific info of what types of minerals, etc. are supposed
to be in our soil and in what form? Does anyone have info on what the rates
were 100 - 200 years ago?

Interesting question. Even though we all often disagree on minor points, we all think alike on many major issues.

Historically, the USDA is supposed to know all the answers. We have entrusted them to take care or our soil and our health.

All we have to do is note how they screwed up the food pyramid, how many people are sick, and the numbers of deaths from all diseases, .... then we have crystal clear proof of the job they have done.

This being a government agency controlled by politicians is the primary reason the have not done a better job.

I have made friends over the years with vegetable scientists and research doctors. None of them seem to be like the early scientist, Rife, Bechamp, and many others.

I have doubts that the USDA food database is even telling us the truth. If all this is true about the minerals being depleted in the soil, and chemical fertilizer being worthless, then the reports they publish cannot be true. ( note the "IF" at the beginning of that statement )

I know for a fact when I eat raw turnips for breakfast from my garden, my stomach is happy and my whole body is happy, and I feel like a million dollars for 4 to 6 hours.

There has to be something great in these raw turnips. A placebo turnip could not produce this effect.

Even though it is 15 minutes past midnight, I will eat two or three right now.

I depend a lot on supplements because I have eliminated lots of cooked food that most people depend on for energy production. Sometimes I think I do not even need the supplements.

I think you mentioned that taste does not mean nutritious. I agree. Still, the taste buds and foods that excite them tend to produce a wonderful sensation that makes the body function.

The watermelons I grew last year that everyone said were fantastic were hybrids. The sugar content was too high. When I eat the old non-hybrids, I never notice a sugar overload. I could tell that this high sugar content was not good for the body.

I grew many that weighed over 40 pounds, some 50,and 55 pounds. Typically, I eat half a large melon.
This is not a good idea with the hybrids.

Of course I grew 10 to 12 varieties, so I could eat the non hybrids instead from time to time.

There has got to be some minerals someplace to make this stuff produce and to provide energy for the body.

Something that few people know about plants. They virtually do not produce an imperfect seed. A plant will produce fewer seeds if drought stressed or otherwise. Yet every seed that matures is perfect and will produce a perfect plant.

Don't we wish humans were as intelligent.

Sorry I did not answer your question.

    Wayne
