Wayne,
      Some years back while still working as an insulation contractor, I
would find an attic that would have several inches of bat manure in it. I
would save it,  put some in buckets of water and water my sweet corn.  My
neighbor used the same variety of corn that I did.  His was never more than
5'. And like yours, mine would hit 10'.  I never told him why.   Bob Smith
