I recently came across a phd thesis that discussed another method of ion transfer, but it used terminology I never heard of before. However, it discussed a cellular mechanism for metal ion transfer, and one of them was specific for silver ions. And we are told the human body has no use for silver. If so, why is there a way to process silver ions in the body? I should have kept the paper, but it was huge, and I erased it. I'll post the link here if it pops up again in google.
