sol,

It immediately turns a pale yellow and then very shortly (within 15 min)
turns a soft pale milky-silvery clear and stays that way. Wondering if I am
adding too much H202 (1 drop per oz) and I should probably just drop the
H202 (being an over-achiever).

ALso contamination as Mike mentioned, is a possibility.

Although I do not touch the electrodes with my fingers or the inside of the
jar and try to keep things sterile, I DO place the gen on the kitchen
counter while it makes CS, a lot of activity is going on there so maybe I'd
better move the operation? I just figure with the generator fitting
perfectly in the jar mouth..........things would be ok.

I also keep it on the jar mouth when not in use. The jar is solely used for
making CS and only distilled water goes into it.

Also yes I was messing up terminology big time last night. I should have
said electrodes and I should have said thermal stirrer instead of magnetic.
OK, I am a blonde ;-)

///I just made a quart batch in my Pup yesterday that went pale yellow. In
the late evening I filled a 20 oz former pop bottle with it, and added
approx 1/4 teaspoon of ordinary H202. I then went> darker yellow>cloudy
yellow brown>milky cloudy. From there it gradually went to almost clear
over a period of a a couple hours or so. This morning it is perfectly
water clear.
How long are you waiting for it to clear up? If your DW is ok it should
go clear.
