Hi Bailar, Marshall, one of the many Experts on this Site gives fine advice and information to "us seekers"--Please pay close attention. I, too, like you am a seeker, but have gathered much good information (please check my Site) and want to share a couple of goodies that will help answer your question: Brooks Bradley, another Giant on this Site, discovered in his Laboratory and shared with us that dosing 1 part CS + 2 parts Gatorade (as an electrolyte) will take CS deeper into body tissues than CS can go alone. Upon hearing this, my wife of 58 years, who was suffering with Chronic UTI which repeated each 3 to 4 weeks. This was over a year ago and since combining the electrolyte with CS, has she has NOT suffered another attack. Later, Brooks announced that Adding DMSO to CS to make a 5% DMSO addition, worked even better. We still use and recommend the Garorade, since we KNOW it has been effective for us + I'm a Univ. of FLorida graduate, and the Gatorade patent pays money to that fine institution.
